PHOTOSRAPHY PLAN CJTF SEVENNo. 3-53 (4) A technical report film (approximately 45 minutes) depicting Armed Forces participation in CASTLE, (5) Complete still coverage of the operation, including photographs for repreduction in the narrative history of the operation, as required, (6) A short, unclassified version of (1), above, (approximately 15 minutes). b. This film will be tailored for wide dissemination. Distribution and Control will be as follows: (1) Film (except first-run prints) produced in accordance with AEC requirements will be distributed and controlled by the Division ef Military Application, USAEC, in conformity with existing ABC poli~ cies and procedures at the time the film is edited. (2) Film (except first-run prints) produced in accordance with DCD requirements will be distributed and controlied by AFSWP in conformity with exmsting DOD policies and procedures at the time the file is edited. (2) Complete cataloging and indexing of all film exposed in the operation, both still photographs and motion picture footage, will be accomplished. Cataloging will be accomplished by the microfiln process, with one (1) copy of the final catalog distributed to AI, LOS ALAMOS and one (1) copy to AFSWP. The DMA and APSWP will be the coordinaving authority for additional prints required by AEC and DOD agenties, respectively, for any stock footage shown in the catalog. c. Assignment of Tasks to Subordinate Units. (2) CTG_7.1 wii: (a) Plan the technical report photography program for CASTLE to meet the aforementioned requirements. (bv) Prepare script for the motion picture requirements. (c) Procure and store photographic supplies and equipment required to conduct the photography program. (a) Execute the photography program in accordance with approved plans and produce required motion picture and still photo- graphy. Ce) Assign proper security classification to all operations, eguipment, supplies and pictures of the photography program. (£) Safeguard all exposed film in accordance with proper security classification. Original negatives and library prints of all technical report films will be stored at Lookout Mountain Labor-~ atory. (g) Coordinate technical report photograhy operations with technical photography operations as practicable, particularly in the common use cf support services.
