Truck Detachment, 7126th AU operated the ENIWETCK ISLAND motor

1 pool, furnished bus transportation for ENT:TETOK ISLAND, and performed
first and second echelon maintenance of vehicles based on ENIWETOK IS-

In addition, it accomplished, through the use of DUKWS, for TG

+ 7023 transportation for security swucps of off-island cargo port opera~
_ tions; boat pool suppert; and, in c:lm weather, the use cf its DUKWS
| proved desirable for movement of reefer cargo direct from the ship's

side to the reefer banks,

it was necessary to train them after arrival at ENIVETOK.
