Missions:
The missions of the Transportation Secticn were to furnish

a comprehensive staff for transpertation services; plan, coordinate
end supervise mctor transportation activities; furnish transportation
support to elements of JTF SEVEN in the forward area; coordinate hiTS
passenger traffic, cargo and mail; overseo a port of embarkation and
debarkation; support operaticns during the roll-up phase and insure
‘the shipment of all personnel and materiel to the appropriate destina~
tions a: they becume surplus to requirements.
