Prorated Delivery or Shipment
a.

Schedules may be formulated as required by the retardment or accelleration of the work program.
a--Notification shall be made to suppliers to withhold
shipments until further notified (to conform with

vessel sailings).

Continuous delinquency by the supplier on delivery schedules shall be referred to the Purchasing Agent for action.
a.

Supplier will be requested to show cause.

b.

Suspension of the vendor from the "competitive list
of suppliers" shall be made at the direction of the
Procurement Director.

c.

Non-performance of delivery promise by vendor will be
just cause for order cancellation.

a--Cancellation of orders shall be made by the Purchasing Agent.

Changes in Routings
a.

Changes in routings shall be effected whenever necessary to conform with air or water departure schedules.

a--Routing changes to higher classified routings, (i.e.
air express, railway express), shall be for the.

account of the buyer, unless previously acknowledged
by the seller in written letter copy.
b--Payment of charges for higher classified tariff
routings shall be made in accordance with established federal tariffs and commodity rate classifications.
c--Changes in routings shall be accomplished by formal
purchase order revision.
