To the People of Enewetak who sacrificed so much on behalf of the peace of the world and the security of free men everywhere; To the memory of the six U.S. servicemen who lost their lives at Enewetak Atoll during the cleanup; and, To the thousands of individuals whose unswe rying commitment to the people of Enewetak and sustained support to the Department of Defense over the eight years of the project made possible the remarkable success of this great bumanit Tian effort.
