On the 29th of May two (2) TU-7 monitors were sent to the shot island to make
a general survey (beta-gamma).
They also took a converted thyac an? were unadle
to detect any alpha cont2mination at 300 ft. from groun¢e zero.

They were unable
Several people were in close to rround zero on 30 May an“ their booties were
checked for alpha contamination. These booties shoved readiness between 600 - &00
cpm on the thyace .A survey performed on 3 June shoved very little alvha contaiination
