8. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: Although the Task Group 7e1
Advisory Group, Safety, is tha responisble agoncy and educational
body, supervisory personne] of the Task Group are required to
sssure that high standards of safety are maintained throughout all
phases of their work during the entire operation.

10. FATALITIES:
One fatality occurred during this period, and was
@ recreational accident. On 29 April 1956, a Task Unit ) man drowned
under conditions believed to bo aggravated by a physical handicap,

not accurate in all cases because of duplication between atolls, but
can be reconciliated efter completion of Operation, Statistics are
most accurate on civilian zecidents, since the Task Group has no
responsibility to the reporting of military accidents.
