EvacuationOfficers,appropriateJTF SEVEN Staff Officers,and the JTF SEV~ EvacuationOfficer,who is the chairmanof the committee. This group meets at the call of the chairman,in the EPG, prior to the commencementof operations, to review all evacuationplans and, during the operation,to adjustplanning as required. MUSTER- As used in this plan means an assemblyof individuals ~. — ; it furtherincludesthe accountingfor to be physicallycountedand identified individualsin the EPG, based on accurateand timely knowledgeor reportsby designatedagents responsiblefor knowingthe locationof the individual. 5. ORGANIZATIONFOR EVACUATIONAND REPORTINGPFu)CEDURE a. Organizationfor Evacuation- Each Task Group will be organized for evacuationas dictatedby the compositionof the Task Group. The organizationestablishedfor routine evacuationswill be flexibleenoughto work under emergencyevacuationconditions. b. Musters (1) Musters will be held by task groups as indicatedbelow. (a) Upon being notifiedof any emergencyalert condition, preliminaryor sightmusters will be held by task groupsto determinethe locationsof all personnel. (b) For routineevacuation,musterswill commenceon D minus 2 or D minus 1 to permit early accountingfor the majorityof personnel. (c) Since emergencyevacuationwybe ordereddue to effectsof detonation,a muster conductedfor the routineevacuationand accountingfor personnelfor each shot will be a continuingeffortuntil emergency conditionsare no longer possible. c. The Muster Group as follows: ReportinpSystem will be organizedwithin the Task (1) Group leaderswill reportto their muster officersfor the persomel assignedto the group. (2) Task Group muster officerswill consolidategroup leader reports for relay to the Task Group EvacuationOfficer. (3) Afloat,the task groupmuster officerswill: (a) Report to the ship’sevacuationofficerfor all psrsor.nel of their respectivetask groups aboard. (b) Report to the Task Group EvacuationOfficer,to permit accountingfor all task force personnel. (4) The Cormnanding Officerof each ship will reportnumberof personnel(officeror EM) aboard,by task group, to CTG 7.3. d. Each Task GrouD Commander.as soon as practicable,will advise the JTF-7 EvacuationOffice;by dispat~hthat ‘tallpersonnelhave been accounted for and are in known safe places.” This is a final report. N-3
