Colorado Plateau The Deputy Director further reported on the industrial aspects of the uranium program in the United States including the mining and processing activities in the Colorado Plateau, The Committee recognized the need for the Commission to consider the extent of its responsibility in these activities as it is apparent that in many of them there are levels of injurious agents which excecd those considered to be safe from the health standpoint.
