1957 Nevada Tests
The attached Public Education and Information Plan for Operation
PLUBBOB, the 1957 Nevada test series, is transmitted for comment
br the Operations Coordinating Board on phases of the Plan relating
to the international clinate of opinion,
The Plan was drafted on the basis of experience at previous tests
and in anticipation of informational and eCucational problens
that may be raised prior to and during the test operations in 1957.
The Plan has been approved by the Commission.
It has also been
transmittec to the Department of Defense for concurrence and to the
Department of State for any recommendation as to whether forelgn
mecia representatives should be invited to attend tests witnessed by
Comestic mecia representatives.
Barly consideration of this matter and comment by the Operations
Coordinating Board is recuested,
