Subject:
SHIP SUPPORT FOR APPLIED FISHERIES LABORATORY
BIOMEDICAL PROGRAM
Dear Dr. Donaldson:
/
The Director, Pacific Operations Division, ALO, has concurred
in the recommendations set forth in our letter dated 10
January 1958 relative to integrating the ship requirements
of the Marine Biological Program with the schedule of the LSM
444 currently being operated by Holmes & Narver, Inc.
Present planning indicates that the schedule for the vessel
would be most pliable after mid-August 1958.
Preliminary in-
formation concerning your anticipated requirements would be
appreciated at the earliest possible date.
The recommendation has been made by the Director, Pacific
Operations Division that your Laboratory submit a formal request to utilize the vessel through the Division of Biology
and Medicine, U. S. Atomic Energy Commission.
Sincerely yours,
HOLMES & NARVER,
