Present planning indicates that the schedule for the vessel would be most pliable after mid-August 1958. Preliminary in- formation concerning your anticipated requirements would be appreciated at the earliest possible date. The recommendation has been made by the Director, Pacific Operations Division that your Laboratory submit a formal request to utilize the vessel through the Division of Biology and Medicine, U. S.
