That the counter efficiency was: (a) 50% (b) 20% On this basis, it was concluded from the calculations that all re- sults were within permissible limits for emergency and continuous consumption for air and water as recommended by the National Committee for Radiation Protection and Measurement (NCRP) and elso by the Inter- national Commission on Radiation Protection. Commander JTF-7 and the Deputy for Scientific Matters were advised to this effect by the Staff Surgeon. No further action was taken at this time.
