All blood sanples shculd be obtained under

the blood picture after exposure to radiation, all blood counts
will require in addition to very careful laboratory technique, in‘terpretation by a Ledical Officer trained in the special probleius
of radiological safety and in the henatology of radiation sickness,
When indicated, and in cases suspected of over-exposure, or when
unexplained laboratory findings occur, total erythrocyte and
leukocyte counts should be made and the urine beta counts should
be repeated. Individuals presenting, these findings and individuals known to have received and over-exposure to external radia—
