Durine the month, earranzenents were made lor versonnel Yrom the
dew York Uperations Cffice and the Oak Ridge National Laboravory
to visit the taval Research Laboratory.
Personnel from UYUO
visited Jr, Sidney Leibson at ‘ini to discuss halozen filled Jeiger
counters.
wr. Leibson had performed much of the original work on
these tyve tubes.
ORNL personnel visited the laboratory to discuss
experiments being performed on scintillators for photomultiplier
tubes,
ciuch useful information was exchanged between these jroups.
