energy has played an important part in restraining the

potential enemy,

The fear of the destructive force of

atomic weapons has undoubtedly proved a deterrent to
the aggressive cttitude of any enemy government. They
are striving by every possible means to increase their -

technical knowledge and application of atomic energy

and thereby increase their potential military force,

experiments and to interfere with them by every means
