A revised letter was sent to the Secretary of Defense requesting confirmation of DOD support. 2. Item of Information Mr. Libby reported his discussions with Sir John Cockeroft (UK) and Dr. Lewis (Canada) concerning declassification of Project SHERWOOD. Sir John favors declassification of present data, with the reservation that it may be necessary to classify some future data.
