The other drastic change in the lives of the people was the close proximity in which the dri-Enewetak and dri-Enjebi were compelled to’ live. One effect of this was more intermarriages and a corresponding increase in crossed land rights, so that the dri-Enjebi acquired more rights in the: south than ever before, and vice versa.
