The Scientific Director shall be assigned a fair number of radio
channels for his communication and signaling purposes,
He will be given authority
to impose radio silence throughout the pertinent working area by request to the
Task Force Commander through the Test Director as he deems necessary.

All press releases or "on the reccrd” publicity statements of
any kind involving technical matters will be cleared through the Scientifi
Director's office as well as through security, in order to insure technical
accuracy.
All AEC publicity matters are the responsibility of the Test
Director, not the Scientific Director, except as noted above,

Direct teletype communication between the Scientific Director
and the Director, Los Alamos Laboratory will be made possible,

Except for space for the Test Director and his staff and for
visiting members or representatives of the AEC, the available quarters on the AV4
and AV5 will be assigned ty the Scientific Director.
The living quarters re~
served by the Test Director on these ships for the two purposes mentioned above
will
