SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES: a. All Detachment Commanders TG 7.2 are responsible that: (1) A unit Security Officer is appointed on orders, (2) A comprehensive continuing security training ‘pro= whose primary duty shall be to assist and advise the commander on matters of security and establish close liaison between the unit and the TG 7.2:Security Officer, gram is conducted for all individuals within his unit. (3) Periodic inspections are made to insure ‘that no items of contraband as described by CINCPAC Serial 020, dated 1 April 1952 are present in his unit area,. (4) All classified documents and/or material for which he is responsible are safeguarded in accordance with AR 380-5 and SOP 11-20, b, CTG T2260 ‘ The Military Police Detachment, 7126 AU will: (1) Conduct monthly ground security sweeps of designated islands of ENIWETOK ATOLL. (See SOP 125-2, CTG 7.2) ATOLL, (2) Conduct weekly air security sweeps of ENIWETOK (See SOP 125~2, CTG 7.2) (3) Provide sufficient personnel to insure the orderly processing of incoming passengers at MATS Terminal and to conduct a baggage search for contraband items under CINCPAC Serial 020, (See SOP 125-1, CTG 7.2) (4) Provide such security guards (in addition to normal interior guard requirements) as may be deemed necessary by CTG 7.2 for the protection of sensitive installations and/or materials, (5) Patrol the island of ENI.ETOK by motor patrol 24 hours per day and be’ constantly on the alert for evidence of EEI as set forth in par 4, this Annex. 6. PHOTOGRAPHY: Only official photography is authorized in the ENIWETOK area.
