It is recognized that specific expendable items and supplies, of which there are many, are charged to direct overhead upon arrival at Jobsite, and, therefore, no Kardex accountability exists. These items, in some instances, are so-called free issue, in others they are under close custody of storekeepers and shop foremen as in the case of tool expendables and paint brushes and supplies.
