Attached for your information are the following:
1, Progress Report on Logistical Support of AEC BioMed Programs in Pacific Ocean Areas.

2. Report of trip to Trust Territory for Coordination of
Bio-Med Activities,
The Progress Report was prepared to summarize the problems
and achievements in the Bio-Med Support area since it has been

assigned to this office.

The Trip Report was prepared as a result of a recent trip which
Neil Rasmussen, HAO Procurement and Contract Specialist,
made to the Trust Territory.
Both documents were written for our internal purposes.

No NV

action is required. However, we feel that they might be of interest to you. We have enclosed three copies and would recommend
that you forward one copy to Dr. C. L. Dunham ofthe Division

of Biology and Medicine, since he has expressed an appreciation
for the amount of administrative effort required to coordinate the
support of these programs.
We talked with Mr. Norwood, High Commissioner of the Trust

Territory, last week but were unable to offer him much help

but with the information you sent us we were able to confirm

some of his understandings and show ourinterest in assisting
where we can. He is very cooperative and interested in the
