Yet if only for pressing home a point, the profound implications and the moral obligation of the U.S. government to fully rehabilitate the atoll damaged by the testing of nuclear devices, liberal and well-planned efforts tailored to the future return of the Bikinians should commence at the earliest possible time. Not only is the complete rehabilit- ation of Bikini by the U.S. justified in the eyes of world opinion, a responsibility remains to redress an injustice toa handful of displaced poeple.
