If, as a result of the surveys and as determined by
Dr. Conard, it becomes necessary to transport any
of the surveyed Marshallese patients to the United

States for further medical treatment, the AEC will

fund and pay te the Trust Territory the cests of the
patients travel and per diem (at the Trust Territory

established rate) from their home island te Kwajalein,

and thelr returz from Kwajalein to their heme island.
These traveland per diem costs will also be allowed
for an interpreter accompanying the patients. For
the patient's and interpreter's trip from Kwajalein

to the United States and return to Kwajalein, the AEC

will fund for and provide all transportation, suitable
clothing for the colder climate, food, lodging and
miscellaneous travel expenses.

Requests to the Trust Territory for support services

such as transportation, perseanel, supplies and
other services for the AEC Medical Surveys wili
normally be authorised in writing by Dr. Conard,
William K. Streenan or myself. However, in the
case of emergencies, such requests will be
immediately confirmed by one of the above.

Trust Territory billings resulting from providing
support to the AEC Medical Surveys should be sent
to this office and identified as: AEC Medical Surveys
in the Marshall Islands, Account Number I1D-94008.

Upon receipt of the billings, prompt relmbursement
