4.6 DOSE CALCULATIONS FOR USS TAWAKONI (ATF-114). Only light fallout from Shots BRAVO and ROMEO occurred aboard TAWAKONI and normal crew duties were probably not altered by its presence. The daily film badge doseis calculated by multiplying the contributions to exposure, both topside and below (from table 3.6), by the appropriate time-averaged shielding factor or apportionment factor. Contributions from each source are summed and converted to a film badge dose. Cumulative film badge doses through 10 June 1954, when dose accrual falls below 1 mrem perday, are given in table 4.6.
