Road-trail to upper part of Island crosses Swale beyond
° ship beer garden - about # mile from boat - narrow Swale
about 50' wide.
Vegetation is predominantly Suriana - low growth.
Scaevola and Messerschmitia.
Some
Suriana seems to be more
characteristic of this and similar areas.
Soil is very shallow to beach (7) rock through this area seems to be an old Wash.
