ONLY ot the 1969 Bikini cleanup operation have been submitted to AEC by SWRHL and the University of Washington for review and disposition. a Additional analyses are being performed on soil samples taken during the 1967 and 1969 surveys. BM. It is planned to require that these additional analyses be added to the reports. Reports from the 1970 survey could be added, if the same NV contractors participate, or could be reported separately. Combining 1969 and 1970 survey results in single reports might delay issuance of presently available information by 6 months or longer. Despite the delay, the staff favors combining the data in order to present a more comprehensive picture of radiological conditions at Bikini Atoll. - 23 - NM Sf?-
