it was vectored cautiously over the lagoon at 1,000 feet.
reading taken was over Dog:
49 mr/hr at O744M.

Later, after clearing
the lagoon, the P°V was vectored out on radials; for example, 270 degrees
for 90 miles and return.

Fallout was predicted aleng a bearing of ten dsgrees; however,
the wind pattern had been displaced to the west in the lewer altitudes,
causing light fallout along a westerly bearing.
The P2V aircraft verified
this shift with readings from 20 mr/hr to 90 mr/hr out to fifty miles
wast of the ground zero through 12°0M.
