obtained ty the P2V lagoon survey.
5. The predicted fallout pattern was oriented between the radials
280 degrees and 320 degrees.
The actual pattern vas more westerly, with
some contamination reported as far south as Ujelang.
FOPU had predicted
Glose-in values of 100 x for « six-mile radius and 10 r for a 12-mile
radius upwind of ground sero, but the initial P2V survey indicated that
this prediction was not borne out.
