This station was a concrete structure 21’ x
7’x 4’ high with two compartments. Cameras
were mounted in tandem inside the structure
and directed at two different angles. Each compartment contained two ports set with 3”-thick
glass and was covered with plexiglass shields.
A 10’x 10’ wooden frame building located behind the camera station housed two generators
and provided support for a television-transmit-

ting antenna. The two generators each furnished

5 KW power and were connected by a transfer
switch. Timing signals of minus 15 minutes,

minus 15 seconds, and minus 5 seconds were
required. A total of 19 cubic yards of concrete
was poured, with an average 28-day strength
of 3,000 psi.
