It is of typical coral formation with an over-

burden of coarse sand and occasional outcropping of coral rock. Preconstructionsoil tests showed the water tabl’efrom six to twelve feet
below surface, and coral bed rock at same depth. Soil bearing tests
average 1500 pounds per square foot without compaction in loose soil,
and 40(20pounds after i-inch compaction. Average temperature is around
80° to ~“ F during daylight hours and drops to approximately75° F at
night.
