The Commander,Task Group 7.3, (HG 7.3), will take supplyaction as follows: (1) Initial Supply (a) Prior to departurefor the EFG all ships will be provisionedto capacityor for durationof the operation. They will carry full allowancesas prescribedby technical Navy Bureaus or type cormnanders.Naval aircraft will be equippedin accordancewith COMNAVAIRPAC instructions. (b) Aircraftunits based on KWAJALEINwill be fully equipped prior to departurefor EFG in accordancewith COMAIRPAC Notice 01+1+00 of 7 October 1955. (c) A1l militarytype communicationsequipmentsrequiredto supportthe test programwhich are not availablethrough normal Navy channelswill be requisitionedthroughCJTF SEVEN. (2) Resupply (a) Ship replenishmentwiU be as follows: Requirementsfor fresh and fro~en provisionswill be submittedto NSC, Pearl, 30 days prior to on berth date of reefer designatedfor the lift. Reefer schedule will be promulgatedby COM.SEWPACto TG 7.3 for further distribution. All TG 7.3 requirementswill be combined and deliverymade approximatelyevery three weeks. Requirementsfor dry provisions,clothingand small stores, ship’s store stock,general storesmaterial,and spare parts will be submittedto NSC, Pearl Harbor,for delivery FAGTRANSto ENIWETOKas fleet freight. w requirementsfor petroleumproducts(NSFO,Diesel, 115/1.45 Afias) till be submittedto the fleet AO to be designatedby COMSERVPAC. PackagedPOL requirementsare normallysubmittedto NSC, Pearl. However,selecteditems of lubricants,greases,and compressedgaseswill be available on the fleet AO for emergencyissue. No shore facilities for ship replenishmentof Navy specialfuel oil or diesel oil are availableat ~IWE1’OK. 5
