Research and Development Funds Made Available to AFSWP
or the Task Force
Research and Development expenses directly identified with a
scientific project or program of the Task Force or AFSWP.
Includes travel, per diem, and other categories directly
associated and related theretoo
Extra-Military Expenses Funded to AFSWP or the Task Force
Commander
Utilized for extra expenses of a military nature incurred as
a result of test operations. May include items of a nature
similar to those covered in normal military budgets. These
funds are administered by the CJTF and/or the Chief, AFSWP.

Costs of modification to and subsequent restoration of equipnent,
aircraft} or ships requested by the Task Force Commander. Restoration refers to returning the ship, aircraft, or small craft
t,>normal serrice configuration and not to operational processing
such as decontamination or normal repairs or maintenance.

Costs of construction and rehabilitation of existing structures
and facilities at the test site remi.red by the operations of a
Task Force Commander in connection with approved Department of
Defense test programs or in fulfilnent of obligations of the
Department of Defense in accordance with joint DOD-WC Agreements.

Costs of transportation of personnel attached to the Task Force

traveling under orders of the Task Force Commander9 including
costs of temporary duty travel as well as any permanent changes
of station travel other than those covered in l~d~ above while
assigned to the Task Force.

Administrative expenses incurred by Task Force and Task Force
headquarters.

Cost of equipnent required for the operation of the Task Force
which is not nomaliy stocked or is not.standard to any of the
military services.

Costs of standard milltary items reauired by the Task Forcej
which by Task Force or AFSW”Pagreement with the serticej are
over and above a level of normal military support which might
reasonably be expected.
