AdministrativePlan CJTF SEVEN 1-58 c. Fire Fighting (1) CfG 7.4 will operateand furnishall crash and fire fighting equipnentand facilitieson FRED Island. CTG 7.5 will provide fire fightingfacilitiesand personnelfor contractoroperated camps at ENIWETOKand BIKINIAtolls and such equipnentas may be requiredat weather/radsafeislands. CI’G7.4 and CTG 7,5 will coordinatein the planningand furnishingequi~ent for fire protectionof EPG facilities. Specializedcrash equipment will be providedby TG 7.L+to TG 7.5 as may be required on request of TG 7.5. d. Subsistence,Messing and Camp Facilities (1) CXG 7.2 will providemesses, sales stores,laundryfacilities, clothingand shoe repair,theatersand other camp facilities for use of all personnelon FRED and DAVID. (2) C1’G7.3 will providemessing and other facilitiesaboard ship for personnelas may be embarked. CTG 7.3 will operateand maintain in coordinationwith tZG 7.5 recreationfacilities primarilyfor afloat personnelat DAVID and NAN Islands. (3) CTG 7.k detachmentson TARAWA,NARU, KUSAIE and KAPINGAMARANGI will be self-subsistedexcept in those instanceswhere local messing arrangementscan be made with existingcivil or military activities. (4) GTG 7.5 will providemesses, sales stores,laundryfacilities, theatersand other camp facilitieson ELMER, NAN, all other contractoroperatedcamp sites and as may be availableand requiredat UJELANG,WOTHO, RONGELAPand UTERIK. Non-contractor personnelwill be fed on a cash basis. ~G 7.5 will provide laundry servicefor personnelof TG 7.1 and TG 7.5 stationed on FRED Island. (5) Task Group Commanderswill publishinstructionsas necessary regardinguse of facilitiesas furnishedby the Task Group. (6) In those cases where it is necessaryfor civilianpersonnelto use military clothingsales stores,CTG 7.1 and C1’G7.4, as appropriate,will providethe individualconcernedwith letter of authorizationper paragraph2.d, AR 32-305,21 JUIY 1953. (7) Task Force personnel,in all cases will use the closestavailable facilities. (8) Personnelaugmentationto operateor providefacilitieswill be as agreed and arrangedbetweentask group commanders. 9
