A limited number of correspondents may be permitted to accompany troops

(not closer than 4,000 yards) on a pool basis with correspondents of the various
media selecting their own representatives for this purpose.

that they will not cause undue interference with operations.

Responsibility for safety of ccrrespondents who may accompany troops

will rest with the Department of Defense as does the safety of troops.
