This station was recovered in good condition.
aluminum pipe capped with an aluminum cap 2-1/2" in diameter, stamped "JaptanH & Nw1954." It is set in a concrete monument flush with the ground surface
in a 20 ft diameter depression in the ground.
Reference markers #1, #2 & #3 were recovered in good condition.
They are
standard 2-5/8" brass discs set in concrete stamped "RM1 (2&3) -H&N154."
R.M. #1 is 1-1/2 ft below the ground surface, R.M. #2 is flush with the
ground surface and R.M. #3 is 6" below the ground surface.
