This station was established b

1944 intersection station "Reef" was located. It has been a primary station
in all subsequent surveys and is the origin of coordinates (N100,000; £100,000)
for the "Ivy" grid. There is a 20 foot high equere..:steel:towere permanently
mounted over this station.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
OF STATION:
This station was recovered in good condition. The station mark is a standard
USC & GS brass dise 3" in diameter stamped "Coral". It is set in concrete
14" below the surface of the surrounding concrete.
R.M. #1 is in good condition.
It is a lead and tack in the small coral head
90* southeast of the main station structure.
A piece of angle iron is
imbedded in the coral head directly behind the RM on the Coral-RM #1 line,
