In the clam kidney the levels of Mn", Fe», Fe°2, Co’ and
Co are greater than the maximum permissible concentration in

water for human consumption.

In 4&n average of the fish livers,

however, only the level of Fe is greater than the MPC.
The levels of activity in these samples, however, are undoubtedly greater than the average for the animals of the Pacific

Proving Ground, since the samples were collected in regions subjected to greater than average amounts of contamination.
