5.

Tasks:

a.

JTF-8/J-6 will obtain through proper channels the frequencies to

support this plan.

bt. JTF-8/J-6 will arrange with JTG-8.6/J-6 to prepare and place
aboard first Navy ship to stop at Johnston Atoll on way to Bikini three
KWM-2 Transceivers from storage at Johnston Atoll.

c. AEC/H&N will provide one Communications Technician for the operation
of the Bikini/Hawaii circuit and maintenance of all communication. equipment
supplied for the task group.
d: AEC/H&@N will remove equipment from Bikini once mission is completed
and return to proper agency.
6.

Emergency Communication:

(1) JTF-8/J-6 Johnston Atol} will monitor ENYU/HAWAIT link and during
non-daylight hours will call hawaii te alert H&N that there is an emergency.
H&N will then open up station to receive information. H&N will furnish
telephone numbers to be contacted.
