DESCRIPTION From State Highway 20 (''Saddle Road") a county owned access
road approximately 17-miles long ascends from an elevation of 6,600-ft. to the
11,100-ft. + elevation of the Simulator and Camera Station site. The entire road
is ona lava bed except for a 3,500-ft. paved section immediately adjacent to the
tacilities. Sections of the road have been treated with applications of oil.
