Technical Photography
a. General Situation. By "Agreement Between Armed Forces Special
Weapons Project and Atomic Energy Commission Regarding Exchange of
Photography from Atomic Weapons Tests", details were formulated for
the metual exchange of photography accomplished at atomic weapons
tests and methods designed for implementing the agreement, particularly as regards the selection, distribution, storage, classificatio: reproduction and furding thereof.

The photographic coverage

as ictined ur the above agreement will be made available to the respective agencies in accordance with the applicable portions of the
agreement, except that advance prints of technical report photography produced under the previsions cf paragraph 1, above, will not be
furnished te any agencies prior to formal release of the entire
covers e by CUTF SEVEN.

of the abevs agreement (except as noted in paragraph 2b, above) will
be distribute? and controlled in accordance with the applicable

Assignment. of Tasks to Subordinate Units.

(1) CIG 7.2, who will normally control the bulk of the technical
photography, is charged with coordination of the mutual exchange of
prints coming within the purview of the agreement and this amex.
(2) Other task groups will support TG 7.1 as required in photographic recording of technical operations involving their respective
task groups.
Commanders of all task groups will establish necessary procedures to
assure that complete contre] accountability is maintained of all
rhctographic equipment and supplies to protect them from damage,
detericration and waste. Strict economy will be practiced in the
use cf fiim and other photographic materials and critical supplies.
