For this reason, it nas been impossible to prerare adequate meteorological trajectories to determine the cath of the debris at various levels. ° The network of upper air observing stations in the tropics is extremely scarse at best, and wind reports at levels above 40,000 feet are virtually nonexistent, with the exception of a few from stations in the “arshall Islands and adjacent areas established especially for this test series.
