In the light of the availability of U. S. re-
sources and over-all demands upon them, continue to furnish Frence military essistance for the purpose of assisting France to fulfill the missions of its U. S.-avproved military forces for NATO, and endeavor to essure that MAP
materiel will be used only in support of French military
operetions consonant with U. 8. policy.
