By now you have received, I am certain, a reply to your letter
from Edith “uimby and have learned that she sent your original
letter on to me at the AEC. The information which it contains
is very interesting to us but appears to be nothing about which
one shouid get alarmed at the present time.
For your information I am sending along a copy of a statement
prepared by our Biophysics Branch which deals quite specifically
with this oroblem and states quite clearly why it is felt that a
matter of 10°73 microcuries ver milliliter is an ultra-conservativs
figure when it comes to the problem of contaminated fish. If,
after reading this you have further aunestions or we can be of
assistance to you in any way, do not hesitate to let us «now.
