The bolt is grouted in a hole drilled in the concrete roof of Hardtack Station 1612 and the brass plate is flush with the surrounding concrete, A 20 ft. wooden observation tower is presently in place, The observing _ Stand is 20,04 ft. above the station mark (elevation 33.46).
