High Altitude Test Shot
I note from General Starbird'’s memorandum to
the Chairman dated December 26, 1956, that he believes
a high altitude test shot using stockpile rockets
and warheads could be carried out about four months
after a cecision is made to go aheud. I believe wo
should make that decision now and recommend that
you bring this matter before the Commission for
early consideretion,.
A preliminary teat of this type will in my
opinion contrivute to more effectively carrying out
the more extensive high altitude test for waich there
