Coordinated Inter-islan? Airlift Operasions.
The L:mited availabi-
lity of aircraft to cucrert anter-ssland airlift operations will
necessitate maximum utiiization of all inter-island equipment in the
forward area
To assure maximum ultlization and provide efficient
service in support of the cverall task force mission, aircraft will
be centraliy controlied ana dispatched by the ccmmander responsible
(CTG 7.3 at BIKINI ard C.G 7.4 at ENIWETOK) for providing the serv-
ice.
Using agencies will be required to plan their movement activi-
ties well in advance :> permit proper scheduling

CIG 7.4 will provide
an anter-atoll airiift system cetween ENIWETOK and BIKINI ATOLLS
wath flights to cther atelis in the forward area as required to
support joint task force elenerts. Using agencies will be r quired
to submit requirements we!) :a advance to perm? proper scheduling
Subsequent to the last shot ot BIKINI. the ENIWETOK-BIKINI service
will be prewided by PEM vircraft . taking off frem ENTWETOK ISLAND
eirstrip and landing in the BIXINI lagoon. Except for MAJURO, which
will be supplied by C-i7, the weacher island atrlift wili be controlled by
CTG 7?
