BIKINI CLEANUP PROGRAM
This morning I received a copy of the Bikini Cleanup 8tatus
Report as of June 30, 1969, prepared by Admiral L. M. Mustin,
Director, DASA. Two copies are enclosed.
I suspect the total fund estimate of $1,300,000 indicated
in paragraph 2 f9 conservative. Also, I suspect the date
of October 15, 1969, for completion of the cleanup work
and withdrawal of the Tagk Group is probably on the con-
servative side.
However, the withdrawal date will depend
to @ great extent on the availability of DOD transportation.
