This is to advise you that the following three Marshallese in
the group exposed to fallout radiation in 1954 have had thyroid surgery and results are noted:
1)
#74) Rongelap Island,
female, age 38 - benign adenomas; 2)
male, age 33 - benign adenomas; 3)
Island,
female, age 5/7 - cancer of the thyroid.

The attached list updates the people who are under your consideration fox compensation.
This list includes the above three. As
a matter of recrpd one of the Rongelap exposed people,
(#18) female, age 42 who is previously listed for compensation
-. (thyroid surgery for cancer) has been undergoing x-ray therapy at
the Clinical Center of the National Institutes of Wealth for a
pituitary (brain) tumor.
‘This tumor is not believed to be related
to her thyroid cancer.
