A test quantity of UCLA colorinetrio dosimeters are being furnished to
the Chenical Corps, Technical Command for evaluatien pursuant to the possibility
of the Chemical Corps continuing the support cf this development.

established ror a ecintillation survey meter, such asthe one developed by the
Chemical Division at ORNL. The “survey® has expressed a desire to secure an
Anitiel quantity ef 16 instruments, AL sites will be solicited to determine
quantities needed prior to the initiaticn of aaontract.
The ‘lealth Prysics Division at ORNL hes expressed s desire to heve the
Radiation inatruments Branch sponsor a production-engineering contract to
commercially ;reduce a neutron cosare rate seter and an alpha meter survey
mater duveloped by that group. he laborstory'’s proposal ia being forwarded
